Product Category Management

Description
This document outlines the procedures for adding main categories and sub-categories in the product management module, as well as viewing and managing these categories.
#
Add a Main Category
- Access Category Management
- Navigate to the Category section within the Product Management module.
- Initiate Main Category Addition
- Click on the icon next to the "Product Categories" title in the menu list.
- Enter Category Information
- Fill in the required fields including:
- Name
- Description
- Upload Photo (if applicable)
- Submit Category Information
- Click the "Create" button to finalize the addition of the main category.

Add a Sub-category
- Select Main Category
- Choose the main category from the menu list where you want to add the sub-category.
- Initiate Sub-category Addition
- Click the "Add Sub-category" button.
- Enter Sub-category Information
- Fill in the necessary fields including:
- Name
- Description
- Upload Photo (if applicable)
- Submit Sub-category Information
- Click the "Create" button to finalize the addition of the sub-category.

View Categories and Sub-categories
- Expand Categories
- Click the (+) button at the beginning of each category to quickly drop down and view the associated sub-categories.
- Navigate to Sub-category List
- Select each category in the menu list to display the sub-category list on the right side of the screen.
- Perform Actions on Sub-categories
- Click on the three-dot menu in each row to reveal available actions for each sub-category.
- Available Actions:
- View: Opens the view page which includes an Edit button.
- Edit: The edit function will follow the same steps as the Add Sub-category action.
- Delete: Permanently remove the selected sub-category.
